The best food in montana..hands down
Easily the best restaurant I went to in the Babb/St. Mary Montana. The waitress was great, speedy and provided terrific recommendations. The Mexican half chicken was perfectly cooked and had sweet mangos and a bed of soft rice to accompany it. I had an out of body experience eating the Huckleberry PBJ pie. I never eat sweets and this one was next level comfort food. The waitress admittedly said they have cheap coffee but I’ll tell you, they make it strong and they make it well. Sometimes you’ve gotta work with what your dealt with. I do not know why they are currently rated less than 4.5 stars here in Google. But like the FIFA Women’s World Rankings prove, rankings don’t matter. I’ll be back the next time I’m at Glacier NP, and I hope the two huskies are still there and ready to play outside again.
Very busy restaurant so expect a long wait if you have a group of 4 or more. The huckleberry cheesecake was delish! I wasn't a fan of the hot wings, but if they were naked they probably would have been better. I like mine to just be hot and not savory. Their wing sauce has a sweet taste to it I am not into. When I want hot wings I don't want a sweet taste to it unless that's what I ordered. The mozzarella cheese curds were delish. My daughter enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich and my son his hamburger. The customer service is pretty good. Overall a good place to eat on the east side of the Glacier.
Wonderful buffalo burgers. Large helping of fries to go on the side, but my favorite was the huckleberry pie or maybe the shake. Shout out to the wait staff. Top notch,
We came here after a long hike at Many Glacier. It was right on our way back to Saint Mary. We were seated right away and our food came out pretty quickly. We got the red burger and the grilled cheese. Both were quite tasty. The grilled cheese wasn't much food comparatively. We had to try some huckleberry dessert, so I got the huckleberry pb&j pie and also tried some of the huckleberry pie and the huckleberry cheesecake. The pb&j pie was definitely my favorite followed by the regular huckleberry pie. The desserts weren't cheap. All huckleberry desserts cost $8 for a side. Prices in general were a little steep, but about normal for the national park area. They don't do separate checks and they said no splitting either, but when we got to the register, they did let us put it on two different cards. There were lots of other things on the menu that looked good. I would recommend giving it a try.
It is a surprisingly diverse menu with options for meat lovers and vegans alike, everything from over-the-top burgers to a falafel plate or seasonal veggie plate. People typically enjoy the pies and many desserts feature huckleberries. The service is warm and friendly. Seating is available for 100+ after recent expansion. Beer and cocktails are available. Weekly soups and salad dressings. Definitely a worthwhile place when in the area.
Last summer we stopped here. Had the trout and waffles. So amazing! Other dishes that came out for other tables looked amazing.
The staff are friendly, food is okay, and the vibe is not for everyone but is still cool. The prices are outrageous! The owner's should be wearing masks for the robbery they are pulling. There are very few food options in the area and the person making the prices knows that. The food simply is not worth the money you are going to pay, even for a tourist trap this Cafe is simply overpriced and overrated.
What a wonderful find! Just a few miles from the East Park enterance. The outside does look funky, but the staff are warm, friendly, attentive and most importantly, ensured our orders were correct. Best meal we have had so far in Montana!
❤ the food and Staff. Always amazing food and service. Quiche is oh so amazing. Highly recommended always delicious . After enjoying your 😋 meal be sure to pick up some photos by BOB.
I wish I had received the great experience that many have expressed here but that is not reality. I ordered a burger medium rare. They told me I had to upgrade to bison burger to honor that request. I did that and got served an overdone, overpriced, frozen patty. Our server disappeared for a time and came back to explain that she had been on lunch break but no one else had taken her place during that period. Most of my group used the outside bathrooms. The consensus was that they were disgusting. Then, they said they said they wouldn't split the bill. There were so many cars in the parking lot but they ended up belonging to the massive staff they have employed there and not the patrons. After hours and hours of exploring the mountains, being hungry and having this place hyped up, I will never eat here again. So why two stars, then? The staff was pleasant, they did end up splitting the bill and I got a delicious huckleberry margarita to go!
What a great little restaurant!. The food was amazing and the service was great.
One of the folks at the many glacier hotel recommended this place, and I can see why. It has a charming family run restaurant vibe. They have a fun little peg solitaire/solo noble sort of a game on every table so that people (specially kids) can stay distracted while their food arrived. I tried their house huckleberry cream soda, which was great. We ordered their quesadillas (which happened to be one of the best I've had in a while), Falafel bowl (their Falafel had a delicious lemony flavor to it, which I've never had anywhere else), Banh mi, and a huckleberry bread pudding (which wasn't anything to write home about, but as such the waiter was trying to steer us towards huckleberry pie, or one of their more popular desserts, in their defense). Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.
ALWAYS go where all of the cars are and you will Never be disappointed!! Just Love this place! Everything tastes and smells great- plus the portions are large! Say hi to Megan! She's Great!
This was another recommendation from our Airbnb hosts and it did not disappoint. Lots of variety on the menu and large portions. We did save some room to split a piece of huckleberry pie and ice cream for dessert and it was quite yummy! Located not too far from the back entrance to Glacier it was the perfect distance from where we were staying.
Great little hipster place, not exactly what I was expecting when we walked in. Friendly staff, good food and excellent desserts. Lost a star because in my opinion it was a tad on the pricey side, but there is not many options to choose from in Bab.
We stopped & picked up a piece of Huckleberry pie. It was delicious - expensive, but delicious!! We loved that Montana had no sales tax. Makes shopping cheaper & fun.
Delicious food, friendly service, options that would please everyone - what more could you want, especially when you're in rural Montana? We were so pleased with our lunch at Two Sisters. My BBQ sandwich was fantastic. The burgers were top notch, too. A great in-between stop for those doing the Many Glacier area as well as the Going-to-the-Sun route.
When we approached the restaurant, we were famished from Glacier hikes. I was craving a burger, a Diet Coke, and comfortable seat. My husband dropped me off to check the menu. I came back to the car and said, “It looks like a diner with personality. Let’s eat here.” I am so glad we did! Delicious burger and huckleberry PBJ pie, friendly service, great music. I really like this place.
The food was mediocre. The chili was good but the chips that came with it were like bricks. The cheeseburger was tasteless except for the bacon that was good. The wings were in a flour corn meal mix that made them hard and difficult to eat. The quesadilla was beyond bland and completely without flavor.
What a great place we found when we stopped here for brunch on the way to Glacier National Park.
Wow! What a Burger experience...I had a Bison Burger and it was delicios!!! The Quesadilla and the onionrings were also great. The Fries were not mine but thats difficult... the interieur and the staff is great. Wish you a nice trip to Germany✊🏼Hope to pass by once more...👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
